By using the Council AI mobile application, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About Council AI

Council AI is an educational and conversational application that allows users to interact with artificial intelligence powered personas inspired by well known thinkers, historical figures and experts.

All characters in the app are AI generated and are not real people. The app is intended for learning, exploration and entertainment purposes only.

2. Not Professional Advice

Council AI does not provide medical, legal, financial, mental health or professional advice.

The content generated by the app is for general educational and informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional guidance.

You agree that you are solely responsible for how you interpret and use any information generated within the app.

3. AI Generated Content

All responses in the app are generated by artificial intelligence.

While we aim to provide helpful and meaningful conversations, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any responses.

You understand that the agents are simulated personas and do not represent the views, opinions or advice of any real individual.

4. Data and Privacy

Your chat data and conversation history are stored locally on your device.

To generate replies, the app sends anonymised prompts to third party AI model providers for processing. No personally identifiable information is intentionally sent for model inference.

Council AI does not use your conversations to train third party AI models.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Council AI for:

• Illegal or harmful activities

• Harassment, abuse or exploitation of others

• Generating content that promotes violence, hate or self harm

• Attempting to misuse, reverse engineer or disrupt the service

We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access if the app is used in violation of these terms.

6. User Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use the app and for any decisions you make based on its output.

Council AI is a tool for exploration and learning, not a decision making authority.

7. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify or discontinue parts of the app at any time without prior notice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error free operation of the service.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, design, branding, agent configurations and content created by Council AI remain the property of Council AI and its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute or resell any part of the app without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Council AI and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on its content.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app if you violate these Terms and Conditions or misuse the service.

You may stop using the app at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
