PDF Studio (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a PDF toolkit for iOS developed by Wyreframe Labs (OPC) Private Limited under the PRTCL10 division.
This Privacy Policy is short for one simple reason: PDF Studio does not collect your data. Everything happens on your device.
The Short Version
PDF Studio has no accounts, no servers of our own, and makes no network calls to process your documents. Your files, scans, signatures and edits never leave your device and are never sent to us or anyone else.
Data We Collect
None. We do not collect personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or your documents. There is no sign-in and no cloud.
Your Documents
PDFs you open, create, scan or edit are stored locally on your device — in the app’s storage and a shared app-group container used by the share extension. They are processed entirely on-device using Apple’s PDFKit, Vision and VisionKit frameworks.
Your originals are never modified — edits are composed on demand — and nothing is uploaded.
Camera & Scanning
The document scanner uses your camera only while you are scanning, through Apple’s system scanner. Captured images become pages in your document on your device. We never receive them.
OCR, Search & Other Tools
Text recognition (OCR), search, compression, redaction and signing all run locally. No document content is transmitted for any of these features.
Purchases
PDF Studio’s premium tools unlock with a one-time purchase processed by the Apple App Store through Apple’s StoreKit. Apple handles the payment; we do not receive or store your payment information. We use no third-party purchase or analytics SDK.
Third-Party Services
The only third party involved is Apple, which processes the in-app purchase and, per your device settings, may receive standard App Store diagnostics. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
Data Sharing & Retention
Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to share, sell or retain. Your data lives on your device until you delete it or remove the app.
Security
Your documents are protected by your device’s own security. We recommend using a passcode or biometric lock. Optional password protection for exported PDFs is applied on-device.
Children’s Privacy
PDF Studio collects no data from anyone, including children.
Compliance
With no data collection, PDF Studio aligns with the GDPR, the CCPA and India’s Information Technology Act by design.
Changes to This Policy
If our practices ever change, we will update this policy and the date above before the change takes effect.
