We collect only what is strictly necessary to provide you with the core functionality of FastFlo.

A. Data Stored Locally (On Your Device)

This data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly back it up or sync it:

• Fasting start and end times

• Feeding windows

• Weight entries and changes

• Calorie burn estimates

• Step counts (if enabled)

• User preferences (e.g., units, goals)

B. Data You May Choose to Share

Some optional features may request permission to:

• Access Apple HealthKit or Google Fit (to track steps)

• Enable iCloud/Google Drive backups (manual opt-in)

• Log errors or crashes via anonymous diagnostics (opt-in)

We will always ask for your explicit permission before accessing any of the above.

C. Metadata Collected (Minimal and Anonymous)

If you opt in to share usage analytics, we may collect:

• App version

• Device model (e.g., iPhone 14, Pixel 7)

• OS version (e.g., iOS 17, Android 14)

• Anonymous crash logs or error reports

This helps us improve the app, but it is entirely optional and never includes personal or health data.

What We Don’t Collect

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only to provide and improve the app experience, specifically:

• Calculate fasting stages and metabolic state

• Estimate calorie burn based on your weight, steps, and fasting

• Show progress and patterns over time

• (Optional) Improve performance and fix bugs via diagnostic data

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We may integrate with privacy-respecting third-party services, such as:

• Apple HealthKit / Google Fit (optional)

• Firebase Crashlytics (only for crash reports, and only if opted in)

• Supabase Edge Functions (for AI features if enabled in future)

Your Privacy Controls

You are in control. FastFlo gives you the following options:

• Delete All Data: From the app settings, you can erase all locally stored data.

• Opt-out of Analytics: Disable crash reporting and diagnostics at any time.

• No Sign-Up Required: Use the full app without creating an account.

If cloud features are introduced in the future (e.g., syncing or AI predictions), they will be strictly opt-in and come with full transparency.

Data Retention

• Data stored locally remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.

• If backups or diagnostics are enabled, we retain data only as long as necessary to operate or improve the app, typically under 30 days.
