PDF Studio — Terms and Conditions

Welcome to PDF Studio (“App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

What PDF Studio Is

PDF Studio is an on-device PDF toolkit for iOS. Core tools — merge, split, rotate, reorder, insert, extract, view, thumbnail, read metadata, scan, and convert images to PDF — are free. Advanced tools (OCR, search, compression, redaction, signing and password security) unlock with a one-time purchase.

Payments

The premium unlock is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by the Apple App Store.

You authorise Apple to charge your account.
There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
You can restore your purchase on your devices via your Apple ID.
Apple handles payment — we do not store your payment details.

Your Documents & Backups

PDF Studio is local-first. Your documents are stored only on your device, and you are responsible for maintaining your own backups (for example, via your device backup). We are not responsible for any loss of documents.

Redaction & Signing

Redaction is intended to permanently remove content from an exported PDF. You are responsible for reviewing exported files to confirm sensitive information has been removed. Signatures created in the App are electronic marks for convenience and do not constitute legal, notarised or professional advice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for unlawful purposes
Process content you do not have the right to use
Reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute the App

Intellectual Property

All design, branding and code in PDF Studio are the property of Wyreframe Labs (OPC) Private Limited or its licensors. You retain full ownership of your own documents.

Availability & Changes

We may update, modify or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

PDF Studio is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that any operation — including OCR, compression or redaction — will be error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDF Studio and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of documents or data, arising from your use of the App. You use the App at your own risk.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance.
